Although the building looks hidden in the back corner, that's the way it is in real life, giving it a "hidden gemstone" feel.

Selfies vs Self Portraits

Selfies and portraits are different because of the message that each conveys. Self portraits, being  a longstanding tradition of sorts, are more permanent than selfies. This is because the essence of using an actual camera or having someone paint it seems a lot more longstanding than a selfie. Selfies seem to be more of a snippet of language than an actual thought. The fact that they are usually taken in the moment and shared everywhere affects the way they come across. They are dispensable as well, since you can take 50 million of them and then just delete them all until you find the one you like.
